Student organizing application documents for China university admission

Preparing your China application from Morocco means more than scanning your Baccalaureate. Admissions offices compare hundreds of international files each cycle — incomplete translations, missing stamps, or wrong document versions are among the top reasons Moroccan applications stall. This guide lists every document Sallam Docs accepts for each application type, matching the official upload flow at docs.sallam.ma.

How to prepare translations and notarized copies in Morocco

Chinese universities expect certified English translations for Arabic or French originals. In Morocco, use a sworn translator (traducteur assermenté) or an agency recognized by your target university. Keep the original and translation as separate PDFs with matching filenames.

  • Diploma and transcript: notarized copy of original + certified English translation
  • Non-criminal record (casier judiciaire): issued within 6 months, translated if not in English
  • Physical examination: use the official Foreigner Physical Examination Form — clinic stamp required
  • Passport scan: full bio page, valid 12+ months beyond planned arrival
  • Photos: white background, passport size, high resolution (no filters)

Common mistakes Moroccan students make

  • Uploading a French-only transcript without certified English translation
  • Expired non-criminal record or medical form (check university validity window)
  • Mixing optional files into the required list without labeling them clearly
  • Using phone photos instead of proper scans for official documents
  • Forgetting China-specific documents when applying as a transfer or return student

When to submit documents (2026 timeline)

  1. September intake: start gathering files 10–12 months ahead (October–December prior year)
  2. CSC applications: often January–April — pre-admission letter strengthens your file
  3. University direct applications: check each portal; many close March–June
  4. Visa stage: after admission, embassy may request updated medical exam or JW201/DQ forms
