Moroccan Bac Average for China Admission: What Score Do You Need in 2026?
How Chinese universities read the Moroccan Bac (0–20), what “12 / 14” guidance really means, why CSCA is separate, and options if your average is lower.
Families often ask: “Is 11 enough? Do I need 14 for medicine?” Those numbers circulate as rules of thumb among counselors — they are planning signals, not admission guarantees. Chinese admissions offices also weigh your major match, language, documents, and (for many bachelor routes) CSCA.
How the Moroccan Bac 0–20 scale is used
Your Baccalauréat moyenne générale (and sometimes subject marks) appears on the diploma and relevé. Universities typically ask for a notarized/apostilled copy plus a certified English translation. Some portals ask you to enter the average exactly as printed; others convert for internal ranking — you cannot control that conversion.
- Scale: 0–20 (Moroccan Bac); report the official moyenne, do not round creatively
- Series matters: Sciences Math, SVT, Lettres, etc. can affect major eligibility
- Transcripts: subject-level grades may matter more than the global average for STEM or medicine
- University rules override social-media “minimum score” lists
Common guidance (≥12, ≥14 medicine) — not universal
In practice, many general bachelor programs prefer applicants around 12/20 or above. Medicine and other clinical tracks are usually more selective; counselors often suggest aiming toward 14/20+ where possible. That does not mean every university publishes those exact cut-offs, or that a lower average is automatically rejected everywhere.
- ≥12/20: frequent informal benchmark for many non-clinical bachelor options — confirm per university
- ≥14/20: common planning target for medicine / highly competitive health majors — still not a promise
- Top-tier or English-taught seats: expectations can be higher or include interviews / extras
- Language programs or foundation years: may accept different academic profiles
CSCA is separate from your Bac average
CSCA measures readiness on a China-wide test (Math for everyone, plus other subjects by track). A strong Bac does not replace CSCA when a university or CSC path requires the score report — and a CSCA sitting does not erase a weak Bac if the school also sets a diploma minimum.

If your average is lower: realistic options
- Widen the university list beyond the most competitive names and cities
- Consider related majors with published lower academic thresholds
- Explore Chinese-language or preparatory pathways where allowed
- Strengthen the rest of the file: translations, study plan, language proof, complete medical/police docs
- For scholarships: treat CSC as competitive — a lower Bac means you need an otherwise excellent, early, complete file (no guarantees)
